NJSBCL - About Us

Welcome to NJSBCL, the home of softball cricket league in New Jersey. The “Incorporated” organization NJSBCL, established in 2008, is a ‘Not For Profit’ corporate social entity. NJSBCL’s vision is to promote and establish, the sport of softball cricket as a minority sport in the state of New Jersey. It also aims to bring together the sport and its players, participants, families, spectators, local and county officials and administrators.

The League has been in existence since 2002 when a group 6 teams came together bonded by their passion to play cricket. The idea was to make use of the early hours of the weekend and be able play the game that is "religion" to most of us.

The League has since grown by leaps and bounds, fuelled by our love and passion for this game. The growth of the league from a mere 6 teams in 2002 to over 100 teams now only goes to show the popularity of the sport in this part of the world.

It was this love and support for the game that propelled us to get incorporated in 2008 and get formed as a legal entity to further the cause of the game in NJ. The dream is to act as a catalyst in promoting this game amongst youngsters by enabling the provision of the infrastructure required for the same.

The NJSBCL Annual General Meeting for 2017 was held on Sunday, April 9, 2017.
